Project Three: Getting out there
Whoa! thanks guys for all the help in trucking out this beast onto the lawn (what lawn---all I see is snow) in between the School of Architecture and CAST. The black box is now "at home".
foundation: shoveling snow and putting down cinder blocks
erection: view of Black Box through the trees. And, one of four elevations
Brady, thank you for your comments. My feeling about the whole project is summed up in this delicious verse: 'you can't make an omellette without cracking a few eggs!' By the way...how was the cheesecake?
The box is so pure and dignified at this point... something like a solitary onyx obelisk. It's almost a shame that it'll be drawn on.
